Kim Wudi first became involved in Badger Region in 1997 when, as a junior in college, she coached a 16’s team for Eau Claire Air Volleyball Club. Wudi coached various levels for the club until 2006 when she took over as the director.

Wudi has witnessed and helped facilitate the rapid growth of club volleyball in Western Wisconsin, as Eau Claire Air grew from just six teams in 2006 to sixteen teams in 2011. She is also very excited to have other clubs either starting or growing in the area.

Though she’s currently transitioning out of club directorship, Wudi is still very involved in the operation of Eau Claire Air and is passionate about providing volleyball opportunities that “work” for busy athletes and families.

Wudi is currently the head volleyball coach at the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire, where she has coached since 2005 and directed the university’s summer volleyball camps and USAV tournaments. Wudi also works in the athletics department as an eligibility/compliance officer and event-management coordinator.

Wudi loves playing volleyball and also enjoys fishing, traveling and spending time with family and friends. Wudi lives in Eau Claire with her husband Jason and daughter, Layla.
