The Badger Region has formed a partnership with the Wisconsin Volleyball Conference (WVC) to provide many of the Wisconsin state universities and private colleges a credible, collegiate club playing experience.  The very first state tournament was held in 1992 in Stevens Point, and has traveled all over the state since then, most recently being held at UW-Lacrosse in 2015. The 2015-2016 marked the 25th Anniversary of the Wisconsin Volleyball Conference. The event was at Marquette University with a 25th anniversary awards banquet taking place April 1, at the Hilton in downtown Milwaukee. The 2017 Championships took place at the Milwaukee Sting Center April 7-8. Marquette University won the Div. 1 men’s division, while Winona State took home the Div. 1 women’s division.

Since the inception of the conference, many schools and teams have garnered numerous National Championship trophies, runner-up finishes, and countless All-American awards.  After the completion of the 2016 season there have been 17 National Champions from the WVC and 15 Runner-Up finishes.
