With summer tryouts on the horizon, the Badger Region will host a club volleyball open house and youth volleyball clinic in early July.
The event will take place from 5 to 8 p.m. on Wednesday, July 9, at Brookfield Central High School, 16900 Gebhardt Road, Brookfield.
For the open house portion of the event, clubs will have tables set up showcasing their upcoming programming, team offerings and coaches for the 2025-26 season. This will be an opportunity for families and athletes to ask questions and prepare for the tryouts that can begin as early as July 19, 2025.
Middle school boys will have a free clinic from 5 to 6:30 p.m. in the main gym that evening. Middle school girls will follow with a free clinic from 6:30 to 8 p.m.
The clinics will be led by the athletes and coaches from Milwaukee Dive, a semi-professional men’s volleyball team that competes in the Volleyball League of America (VLA).
“With tryouts taking place early, we hope that families take advantage of this opportunity to learn about what their options are on the club volleyball landscape,” said Badger Region Program Director Brian Sharkey. “This event can help parents and athletes play some volleyball and educate themselves on and off the court.”
