Every great volleyball play starts with a perfect pass, and now club teams nationwide are making a different kind of perfect pass—one that changes lives.
Today, volleyball teams nationwide are joining in the Perfect Pass Challenge – inspired by the viral success of the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge. Teams raise funds and distribute pink ribbons with research information cards at tournaments, creating a network effect that tackles two critical barriers in metastatic breast cancer research: funding and patient participation.
The goal: 25,000 ribbons distributed and $250,000 raised and thousands of new pathways connecting MBC patients to clinical trials through trusted community connections.
The Perfect Pass Challenge is an initiative by the Side-Out Foundation, encouraging volleyball teams across the country to rally together by completing “perfect passes” in practice and competition. Each pass represents a commitment to excellence on the court—and off, to supporting vital cancer research and treatment.
The Badger Region is encouraging clubs and teams to sign up to be a part of the Perfect Pass Challenge. To sign up for more information, click here: https://side-out.org/a-new-dig-pink-experience/
