Scoreboord Hiring Tournament Technology & Event Operations Assistant for 2027 Season

Scoreboord LLC, a Badger Region partner, is seeking a detail-oriented, tech-savvy individual to support volleyball tournament operations during the 2027 season.

This part-time, event-based contract opportunity is ideal for college students and emerging professionals interested in sports management, information technology, or event operations. The selected candidate will help manage Scoreboord’s digital scoring system across competition courts and common-area displays at several major volleyball events throughout Wisconsin.

Responsibilities include setting up display screens and scoring tablets, managing equipment charging stations, distributing tablets to courts before competition begins, troubleshooting technical issues during matches, and completing equipment collection and teardown at the conclusion of each event. Training and remote guidance will be provided by Scoreboord LLC.

Candidates should have a good understanding of volleyball rules and match flow, comfort working with tablets and basic audiovisual equipment, and the reliability to support early mornings and long tournament days.

2027 Event Schedule

The position will provide on-site support at the following events:

  • Dale Rohde Memorial Boys Tournament: February 20–21 at the Baird Center in Milwaukee
  • Badger Region Qualifier: February 27–28 at the Baird Center in Milwaukee
  • Badger Region Championships (Green Bay): March 6–7 at the Resch Center in Green Bay
  • Badger Region Championships (Milwaukee): March 13–14 and March 20–21 at the Baird Center in Milwaukee

Additional event opportunities may become available as the 2027 season approaches.

The position pays $700 per weekend event, including Friday setup.
