The Badger Region is excited to partner with the Side-Out Foundation to launch The Perfect Pass, a new Club Dig Pink campaign. The Perfect Pass harnesses the power of the volleyball community to tackle two critical challenges in breast cancer research: funding and patient participation. Through this program, volleyball teams nationwide commit to raising funds and, more importantly, expanding awareness of research opportunities for metastatic breast cancer (MBC) patients.
Clinical research is vital for advancing cancer treatment, yet connecting patients with innovative research opportunities remains a significant challenge, especially in communities underserved by major cancer centers.
The Perfect Pass offers a unique solution by activating volleyball’s vast community networks. Participating teams distribute pink ribbons with information cards at tournaments, challenging other teams to join the fundraising effort while helping spread awareness about Side-Out’s research program through their personal and community connections.
