BOYS SELECTED TO REGION’S HP ALL-STAR TRAVEL TEAMS

Twenty boys and a handful of alternates were named to the U17 and U19 Badger Region Boys High Performance All-Star teams on Monday, June 5.

Athletes chosen for their respective programs include:

U17 Travel Team:

  • Ashton Poritz

U17 Alternates: Isaac Gabel, Michael Janssen, Logan Mainka, Nathan Olson

U19 Travel Team:

  • Charlie Andorfer
  • Jack Basarich
  • Jade Breckheimer
  • Vinny Coello
  • Luke deGuzman
  • Ambrose Engling
  • Nathan Higgins
  • Aidan Krueger Beer
  • Will Mathison
  • Max Morgan

U19 Alternates: Brady Pichler, Jackson Phillips, Kade Nelson, Michael Whitney, Aleksy Mikahilenko

All athletes will train July 10-11 at Lakeland University. The 20 athletes chosen for the travel teams will head to Fort Lauderdale July 19-23 for the USA All-Star Championships.

Coaches for the U17 team include: Shane Reid (MSOE), Mike Endsley (Wisconsin Lutheran College) and Mike Stevens (Carthage)

Coaches for the U19 team include: JW Kieckhefer (Carthage), Curtis Madson (Concordia Wisconsin) and BJ Bryant (St. Norbert).

Brian Rushmer (Lakeland) and Brian Sharkey (Badger Region) will also serve as assistant coaches for both teams.
