The Badger Region is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization registered in the State of Wisconsin for the benefit of the volleyball community.
The organization relies on membership dues, events and donations to maintain a high level of programming and services for athletes, coaches, officials and administrators in the Badger Region.
Dale Rohde Memorial
Badger Region’s Dale Rohde ended his fight with cancer on Jan. 15, 2014, at his home in Brookfield. Dale was an active member of our community as a player, parent and official.
In light of his health struggles, USAV bestowed “National Referee – Retired” status to Dale. Dale was larger than life, a wonderful friend, and an exceptional mentor to those in the volleyball community.
He was a true ambassador for our sport and will be dearly missed.
The Rohde family has asked that those wishing to make a contribution in his honor do so to Badger Region because of Dale’s love of volleyball. These funds will be used to run a special boys volleyball event – The Dale Rohde Memorial Tournament. This year’s event will be held Saturday and Sunday, March 28-29, at the Wisconsin Center in downtown Milwaukee, 400 W. Wisconsin Ave.
